Michael Minor Barnes, 63 , of Orange, Texas, departed this life on Monday, October 31, 2022.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at New Beginning Church Outreach with interment to follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens & Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Church.

Michael's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Brenda J. Barnes; daughters, Lashun Degay-Brown (Adrian), Tarsha Degay, Jazmin Barnes, and Melissa Mallett; sons, Sherman Degay (Demetria), Courtney Barnes, and Anthony Barnes (Raven); brothers, L.B. Barnes, Jr. (Anita), Sherman Barnes (Latasha), and Ricky Barnes; 23 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
