Novella Patricia Marshall, 80, of Richmond, Texas, formerly of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was affectionately known as "Pat".
Pat was the seventh of nine children born to Johnny Haynes and Ernestine Bridges on December 26, 1940 in Beaumont, Tx.
Pat was baptized at Borden Chapel Baptist Church at an early age.
Pat graduated from Charlton Pollard High School in Beaumont Independent School District.
Pat was married to Henry Marshall for more than twenty years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Ernestine Haynes; her husband, Henry Marshall, Sr.; her son, Henry "Hank" Marshall, Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Josevette Marshall; and her great-grandson, Gavyn Elliot Levier.
Her brothers, Shellie and Johnny III, and her sisters, Theaster, Minnie Joann and Doris Helen, also preceded her in death.
Pat's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her sons, Ronald Haynes (Philtherian), and Derek Marshall; daughters, Sondra Davis (Dannie), and Sherrill Jones. She also leaves to mourn her passing her sisters, Ollie Ruth Haynes and Ernestine Elizabeth Anderson; brother, Herman Miller Haynes; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Grandchildren include Ronald, Jr. (Natasha), Phillip, Andres (D'ray), Kheanan (Jessica), Jacobe, Joseph, Hershel, Shirrelle, Brittany (Gregory), Dannie Jr. (Kalli), and Bethany (Devante').
Great-grandchildren are Taylore, Trelyn, Tahlia, Tremaine, Aiden, Jaylyn, Kedrian, A'lani, Andre, Kodey, Amarah, Justus, Jaydon, Ava, Anthony, Gavyn, Lennox, Luke and Brody.
A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
A Grateful Appreciation
To just say thank you does not seem to be enough. The kindness shown during the loss of our loved one has been immeasurable. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude. We are truly thankful for your prayers which has increased our faith, and telephone calls which has encouraged our hearts. The expressions of love and kindness have truly been an inspiration. We pray that the grace of God bless each of you beyond measure.
