Orana "Shelby"Promise, 73, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on March 21, 2021.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 10:15 A.M. to 11:15 A.M. at Calvary Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Orana's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Verletta Frank Promise; sons, Loren Polite, Brandon Promise, Desmond Polite (NaTerri) and Joseph Polite; and daughter Chandra Petry(Norman); brother Herbert Alexander, JR. ( Sandra); step- daughters, Quentella Robinson (Russell), Keisha Frank, Dianna Snowden (Willie), and Dorenia Simon (Moses); 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren ; and a host of other relatives and friends.
