Pastor Rufus Parker, Jr., 77, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.

Rufus's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Ora Parker; sons, Derrick Parker (Tawana), and Troy Parker (Kisha); sisters, Carol Young, Ruth Ann Landry, Doris Phillips (Mark), Hattie Lee, Bernadette Lockett (Michael), and Celithia Parker; brothers, Louis Parker (Amelia), and Floyd Parker (Brenda); nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
