Percy Haynes III was born to Brenda Hilton Walker and Percy Haynes II on June 09, 1975, Percy remained in Beaumont Texas until he graduated from West Brook High School. Percy was a member of West Tabernacle Baptist church where he was baptized and served young. Percy began a career as an artist at a young age.  When he became adult, and while working other jobs, he had several opportunities to work on his dream as a great artist. He was able to hang some of his paintings in the Beaumont Local art museum.  Percy made tee shirts for the Mental health Mental Retardation center and other companies. Percy continued to work with the art museum for years. Percy worked for Beaumont City Transit until he moved to Cincinnati Ohio.

After meeting the love of his life, he married Sherese and moved to Cincinnati Ohio, where he made his home and took care of his family for the last 12 years. He worked for Cincinnati school Bus company for the last 5 years, where Percy made a difference in children lives. Percy enjoyed cooking and was a particularly good cook according to his wife, immediate family, and friends.  According to his Pastor he was a wonderful cook and always made sure the pastor and his family had enough to eat. Percy was a Member of Word of Deliverance church where he  served and was always willing to help.  The homeless, sick, shut in, and people without transportation. Percy was always willing to give of himself to his church members, friends, and family.  Everyone talks about how he helped with no complaints, whenever you needed Percy, he was there. Percy was a good spiritual soldier, a kindhearted man, willing to work, and never asked for any recognition. Percy was loved by so many people especially his family and friends. Percy always had a good prank, a nice conversation. He could make you laugh, and he never met a stranger who did not become his friend. Percy's true talents was being a Husband, father, Son, and servant.

Percy loved spending time with his wife, they shared a loving and caring commitment to love one another. Percy gave his children his time and spoiled them when he could. The Grandbaby was his sunshine and she got everything she could from Papa. Percy called and visited his mother and grandmother as much as he could.  When Percy came to Texas, he would cook and look after his mother and grandmother. He had an incredibly unique bond with his mother, who loved and adored Percy. Percy had a kind and compassionate spirit. Percy is gone but not forgotten, Percy legacy will live on.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfathers: Jacob Hilton, Percy Haynes Sr, Clifford Slaughter Jr.; his Grandmothers, Geraldine Haynes and Ida Mae Slaughter and Mack McElroy, his Godfather.

Percy is survived by his treasured wife of 12 years Sherese Slaughter Haynes; Amazing mother Brenda Walker, father Percy Haynes, cherish Grandmother Catherine Hilton, his adorable kids Skylar Williams- Haynes, Nyla Williams- Haynes. three delightful children he gained through marriage he loved. Zyonua Black, Bryona Black, Isaiah Bancroft, Bre'Asia Black Granddaughter, Diane Luckie – Mother-in-Law, Willie Slaughter father-in-Law. He is also survived by his sisters in law, brothers in law, aunts, uncle nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
