It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Horace Derousselle, Sr. , 75, of Port Arthur, Texas peacefully departed this life on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Time Bible Church with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the Church.

Peter's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Rose M. Derousselle; son, Peter H. Derousselle, Jr. (Jasmine); daughter, Alana R. Derousselle; parents, Spencer & Enola Dorsey; sisters, Marie Edna Benjamin, Celeste Simpson (Charles), Rosalind Dorsey, and Strinda LeBlanc (Frank); brothers, Edward Derousselle, Chester Derousselle, and Charles Derousselle (Emma); three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
