Raymond Peter Lewis, Sr., 78, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, with entombment at Magnolia Cemetery Mausoleum, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the church. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his loving wife of thirty eight years, Mary Lewis; sons, Raymond Lewis, Jr., Leonard Lewis, Timothy Lewis, Ray Minix, Jr. (Beauty), John Minix (Rosie), Murline Joseph Minix (Donna) and Stephen Michael Minix (Cynthia); daughters, Cynthia Smith (Emory) and Mary M. Pommier (Jeff); sisters, Miranda Thomas and Margaret Lewis; brothers, Leroy Lewis II (Willie Mae) and Clarence Lewis (Sharon); numerous grand and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
