Funeral service will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Calvary Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Calvary Mortuary Chapel.

Reatha began her earthly walk on June 27, 1950 to the late Carl Busby and Louella Rigsby in Hillister, Texas. She passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021 at home. She moved to Beaumont in 1952 and attended Charlton Pollard High School. She graduated in 1968. She went on and married James Richard on March 24, 1972. Together they had five beautiful kids. She got her CDL license and started working for BISD Transportation where she retired in 2006.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Carl Busby and Louella Rigsby Busby.

Reatha leaves the cherish her loving memories of 48 years her husband, James A. Richard. A loving and supporting sister, Charlene Johnson. Her daughters Yevette Richard (Roderick), Lenette Maiben (Christopher), Nichole Bias (Curtis), Alexandria Smith (Derrick). One son Nicholas Richard (Stephanie). Thirteen grandkids: Ryan Winn (Sameria), Le'Asiah Maiben (Albert), Kathryn Maiben, Richard Clark, Ry'Shawn Winn, Trevelyan Richard, Christalynn Manuel, Joshua Richard, Re'Anna Westbrook, A'Kirred Smith, Kharleigh Manuel, Christopher Manuel Jr., Violet. Two great-grandsons: Zachariah Manuel, and Sevin Winn. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and 3 godsons.
