Robert Ervin Jones, Sr., 81, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Sunday, December 9, 2012.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, 2725 W. Virginia Street, with interment at Magnolia Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, at the church. Rev. Larry Hawthorne, officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace & Lillian Jones; and daughter, Roberta Williams.
Robert's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Lee Anna Jones; children, Bobbie J. Patterson, Annie M. Wiley, Irma J. Landry, Robert Jones, Jr., Carolyn Beverly, Hubert Jones, Billy Jackson, Sr. (Bernitta), Herbert Jones (Melody), Alvin Jones (Sonya), Darrell Wayne Jones, and Jacqueline Carmon (Ralph); sisters, Ida M. Smith, Gloria Dixon (John), and Lillian A. Gardiner; brothers, Samuel Jones (Eddie) and Wallace Jones, Jr. (Verline); 35 grandchildren; numerous great & great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
