Ronald "Cat" Dewayne Fontenot, Sr., 71, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:15 p.m. at Calvary Mortuary Chapel with interment at Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 12:15 P.M. until 1:15 P.M. on Saturday at the Chapel.

Ronald's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his sons, Ronald D. Fontenot, Jr. (Olga), Andre J. Fontenot (Katrina), Jeremy B. Fontenot (Anna), Damon Fontenot (Koncepcyon), and Michael Fontenot; sister, Carolyn Fontenot Ceasar (Rudolph); brothers, Glendell Fontenot, Sr., John F. Fontenot, Sr., and James F. Fontenot (Yvonne); Ronald was profoundly blessed by the laughter of his 15 grandchildren, whose innocent presence illuminated his later years, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
