Roy Kirby Piert, 69, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Morning Star Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Houston National Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church.

His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his son, Alton Burrell; sister, Victoria Singleton; brothers, Milton C. Piert (Sue) and Beecham Piert, Jr.; 2 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
