Ruby Serena Garlow Russell, 68, of Dallas, TX, departed this life on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
Funeral will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M., at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 5095 Pine Burr, Beaumont, TX, 77708, on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Visitation from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M., with Entombment at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Irvan and Leola Garlow; sisters, Jean Briggs, Joyce Volrie, Shelia Campbell, and brother, Dosevell Garlow.
Her love will remain in the heart of her son, Joseph "Joby" Paul Russell, Jr.; daughter, Stephanie Etta Russell Owens (Keith); honorary daughter, Melody Angela Barnes (Marvin); sisters, Geraldine Breaux, Sylvia Lockett, and Lutricia Lewis (Clarence); brother, Clayton Garlow (Ann); 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
