Rufus Lee Jones, 75, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at New Pilgrim Baptist Church under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Rufus' love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Mattie Jones; step-mother, Dorothy Jones; sons, Anthony Davon Jones (Erica), and Jarrett Jones, Sr. (Tiffany); daughters, Deshjuana Bagley (Daryl, Sr.), and LaKira Jones (Robert Guillory); sisters, Magaline Mays, Linda Brown (Richard), and Glenda Jones; brothers, Horace Jones, Jr. (Cynthia), John Jones (Dora), Byron Jones and Jessie Jones; Godchildren, Griffin Edwards and Kathy Shillow; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
