Ruth Mildred Newton, 98, of Chicago, IL, native of Beaumont, TX, went from labor to reward, on Saturday, January 5, 2013.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Pioneer Presbyterian Church, with Entombment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church.
Ruth's love and memories will forever remain in the hearts of her sons, Dwight Newton (Dorothy), Anthony Newton (Jimmie), and Douglas Newton; daughters, Gloria Jackson and Carolyn Leggington; sister, Myra Medlock; brothers, Roberts Coney (Shirley) and George Coney; 6 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives, loved ones, and friends.
