It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shedrick Dewayne Evans , 61, of Beaumont, Texas, who peacefully departed this life on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Douglas Memorial CME Church, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Shedrick's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his son, Christian Evans; mother, Ethel Evans; siblings, Kevin Evans (Shawn), Frederick Evans (Lyndria), and Bennie Evans; granddaughter, Italy Evans; and a host of other relatives and friends.
