Sherman "Blue" Joseph Simon, Sr., 83, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Thursday, August 4, 2016.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, on Friday, August 12, 2016. Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at the church. A Rosary will be recited at 9:15 AM. Entombment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park Mausoleum, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife of sixty years, Sarah Marie Simon; sons, Rodney Simon (Charity), Guy Simon (Emily), and Troy Simon (Anita); daughters, Merlin Toucheck (Dwayne), Shelia O'Gilbert (Stephen) and Luci Sanders (Lawrence); 24 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
