Vergie "Jay" Melancon Ridley, 84, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. at the church with a Rosary recited at 10:15 A.M. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her sons, Michael Melancon (Gradi) and Wynn Ridley (Tiffany); daughters, Janice Ridley and Christina Ridley; sister, Anna Phillips (Fleming); uncle, Joseph Melancon; aunt, Anna Cook; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
