Verlie Mae Gorrell, 86, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Verlie's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her son, William Janise (Twyler); daughters, Roxie Martin (Morris), Vellies Janise (El-Amin), Necia Royal (Raymond), Lesia Arion, Laura Duriso (Timothy), and Shiquita Winford (Mitchell); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
