Wilbert Jimmy Sonnier, 76, of China, Texas, departed this life on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 11:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Wilbert's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his sons, Albert Sonnier, Roderick Sonnier (Jennifer), and Christopher Sonnier (India); daughter, Sonja Ingram (Desmond); sisters, Lorrissa Franks, and Edmonia Bushnell; brothers, Alvin Sonnier, and Alaric Sonnier; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
