Willie Benard transitioned from life on March 25, 2013, at Harbor Hospice.
Mr. Benard was born in Bazile, LA, and lived in Beaumont for many years. He was the owner of Benard's Transmission and serviced many customers in this area.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 1165 I 10 East. Viewing will be from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m., at the church.
Those left to cherish his memories and his love are his loving wife, Wilburean Howard Benard; daughters, Willie Foster and Venessa Jones both of Seattle, WA., Charlette Washington (Joe) of Spring, TX, Bobby McDowell-Carter (George) and Peggy Rodgers-Lollie (Willie) both of Seattle, WA., and Tanya Jackson of Bmt, TX; sons, Ronald Benard (Tanya) of Seattle, WA., William ("Bill") Benard (Toni), Bmt, TX., and Reginald D. Howard (Lisa) of Houston, TX., brothers, Lawrence Benard of Bmt, TX., Leroy Benard (Joyce) of Seattle, WA., Robert K. Benard (Sharon) of Houston, TX., and Alton McCurley (Belva) of Bmt., TX.; sisters, Helen B. Jones, Helen M. Clark, Diane Graham (Archie) all of Bmt., TX; brothers-in-law, Charlie Mingo (Carolyn) and Johnny Howard both of Bmt., TX; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and many friends, and his son William and daughter Tanya's mother, Minister Katherine Briggs.
