Zora Mae "Nanny Tootsie" Pete, 38, of Beaumont, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday, December 7, 2012.
Zora Mae was born on July 31, 1974, to Mrs. Christella Jordan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tyrrell and Verina Pete; nieces, Precious Pete and Jamyla King.
She graduated from Westbrook Senior High School, class of 1992, and she was also a graduate of TSU. She lived in Dallas, TX and in Georgia, but, she moved back to Beaumont, TX.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, with interment at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the church. Pastor Kavin L. Jones, Sr. will officiate the services.
Her cherished love and beautiful memories will remain in the hearts of her parents, Willie and Christella Jordan; others include, Stanley Stewart Jr., Terry Taylor, whom she cherished dearly; brother, Tyrrell Pete (Orelia); sisters, Nicole (Fredrick), Diane (Michael), Loraine (Justin), Verina (Aaron), Serina, Rita, Paula, and Kathy; a special aunt and uncle, Christine & Sylvester Singleton, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
